Overview
Shelby Trails Horse Park recently opened an equestrian cross country course. The course provides three heights of jumps for three different skill levels of riders: Starter, Beginner Novice, and Novice (to use horse people terms.)
The course offers a fun schooling experience with a variety of natural jumps, creek crossings and obstacles. The Beginner Novice and Novice levels have unique colorful obstacles such as caterpillars, carrots and covered bridges. However, the “Starters” now only have 12 telephone poles to jump. Our goal is to change that and have one of the most colorful “Starter” courses east of the Mississippi.
