Mistakenly reported as deceased on credit report. Now what?

Checked my credit report, it says I'm deceased. This mistaken "deceased" status is throwing my financial life into chaos – loans, credit cards, you name it. And the worst part? Nobody seems to be in a hurry to fix this mess. I called up the credit bureau, thinking it was just a glitch. But nope, they confirmed that somehow, somewhere, someone mistakenly marked me as deceased.

Has anyone else been through this mistakenly reported as deceased on credit report nightmare? Any success stories on fixing it?

I also found this consumer attorneys company that claims to help with these credit messes. Anyone tried them before? I'm at the point where I'm considering all options to get my life back from the credit report graveyard.
